Alhamdulilah, by Allah's mercy, Hhugs were able to assist me and ease some of my financial burdens that were upon me.

Allah says “And He will provide him from (sources) he never could have imagined.    And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him”  (65:3).

My life and finances had drastically changed due to the imprisonment of the bread-winner of the family, my husband, so I found myself on benefits.    Alhamdulilah sustenance is from Allah, but it still wasn't enough to meet all my necessary costs such as education and food expenditure.    These areas in particularly is where I found Hhugs assistance crucially beneficial.    May Allah bless all at Hhugs and whoever aids Hhugs to enable them to give support to Muslim families who really do need it.    It is important that Hhugs have the financial capabilities to be able to continue in helping families that have been destablized due to the continuous harassment and imprisonment of their husbands, sons, etc.

Allah says “Verily, those who give sadaqah, men and women, and lend Allah a goodly loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and theirs shall be an honourable good reward (paradise)”  (57:18)

Also Allah says “Take sadaqah from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it”  (9:103)

There are so many ayaat and ahadith encouraging charity and as we know it never decreases one's wealth, and is very beneficial to us Muslims in this life and the hereafter.    May Allah accept our good deeds. Amin.

This is an important reminder to those who sponsor or help to fund Hhugs as a charitable organisation.    As we know from our beautiful religion Islam is that when we die and are in our graves we still receive the benefits/rewards of sadaqah jariyah if we put our money, possessions, wealth, knowledge etc into the right places.    HHUGS assists Muslim children to go to Islamic schools by paying for their fees.    Therefore every child that HHUGS pays for has a ripple effect as any knowledge learnt by the child, and then he goes on to teach others, like his siblings, friends, parents or his/her own children when they are adults, and then whoever benefits from the knowledge spreads it, it goes on and on.

Can you imagine the rewards that will come to you in your grave inshAllah because you contributed to these children's education by financially helping HHUGS?    So please never underestimate the significance of sadaqah as there is always something to gain in this life and the hereafter, and never nothing to lose.
