HHUGS have compiled this small but powerful booklet, ’30 Du’as for Ramadhan’ as a gift for our supporters. It encompasses 30 powerful supplications for you and your family to incorporate into your daily lives to make this your best Ramadhan yet.

The month of Mercy presents immeasurable opportunities for the believer as it combines times where prayers are more likely to be accepted – during the days of fasting itself, at the time of breaking the fast, in the last part of the blessed nights of Ramadhan, in the final hour of Jumu’ah and of course, when seeking the night of Qadr in the last third of the month.

We hope and pray that this booklet will bring the reader closer to Allah, by inspiring you to increase in your supplications and to reflect over the power of du’a. Indeed it is one of the greatest, but simplest, acts of worship, as the Prophet (saw) said “Du’a is worship.” (at- Tirmidhi)

Ibn al-Qayyim (rh) describes du’a as “asking what is of benefit to the person and asking the removal of what is harming him, or (asking) the repelling of it (before it afflicts him).”

All the supplications herein are taken from the Qur’an or the authentic sunnah. Through repetition of these beautiful supplications, our hope is that you will memorise and incorporate them into your prostration in your daily prayers, with the certainty that if we call upon Allah, He has promised to respond –

“Call upon Me, and I will answer you!” (Surah Ghafir: 60)

We hope this booklet helps to keep your tongues moist with du’a and beautifies your Ramadhan.

To maximise your reward, share it with your friends and family to be amongst those most generous in God’s sight:

The most generous people after me will be those who will acquire knowledge and then disseminate it. (They) will come on the Day of Resurrection singly, like a ruler.” (at-Tirmidhi)

May Allah allow us to reach the end of Ramadhan, accept our ibadah and make us of those whose prayers are answered in this blessed time, ameen.
