I need your support to raise £10,000 to provide food vouchers for 40 HHUGS families this Winter.

Fuel poverty is blighting 7 million households in the UK. Among them are HHUGS families: single mothers, children without fathers, and elderly parents of sons in detention.

Winter in the UK is a crippling season for our HHUGS families and I have taken the responsibility to raise £10,000 to support 40 families with £250 food vouchers for 1 month.

More than 1 million more people will be forced into poverty this winter, with a record 38% of people skipping meals for an entire day because they couldn't afford to buy enough food.

Here is a testimony from one of our beneficiaries, "The only thing we would worry about is the food and the bills. How do we pay for food on the table or electric or gas? Then you (HHUGS) came to help and Alhamdulillah, we knew we could have food on table every night. That at the end of the day we won’t starve. We don’t have to go asking for food, door to door."
