“The best of you are the best of you in fulfilling (rights).” (Ibn Majah)

Our brothers and sisters are suffering, not only across the globe, but on our very door step. Emotionally distraught, abandoned by the community, the families impacted by anti-terror legislation are in dire need of our help.

HHUGS, the only charity striving to fulfill their rights upon us, is now at risk of closure.

They have a right upon us of brotherhood.
A right upon us as our neighbours.

A right upon us, as the families of the prisoners.
A right upon us, as those oppressed and suffering.
A right upon us, as those neglected and abandoned by their community
A right upon us, to restore dignity to the needy and relieve their debt

A right upon us akin to orphans and widows – our sisters, struggling to survive without their husbands, and their children, growing up without a father
Will we step up? Will we ease their burden? Will we strive to be the best of this ummah, the best in fulfilling the rights of the believers upon us?

Our faith requires us to be people of action, to be those who embody the Qur’an and revive the Prophetic legacy of helping others.  Our faith continuously call us to move, strive and fulfil – not to be of those who sit back in silence ignoring the plight of those in need; To Unite, to Survive, to Thrive.
HHUGS is the only charity of its kind operating in the UK, providing relief to the vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalised families impacted by anti-terror legislation. From its inception in 2004, we have been beacon of light to hundreds of families devastated by an arrest, who struggle to survive in the shadows of society.
With just 60 days funds remaining, without your support, HHUGS will cease to operate. Who else will be there fill that void? We need your help to keep HHUGS alive, so we can, in turn, continue to fulfil the rights of our brothers and sisters.
